GuidesProposals
From Accepted Proposal to Active Work
How an accepted proposal's Quote becomes invoices, subscriptions, and an engagement project.
There's no separate "convert" step to run. When a client accepts a proposal, ClientCasa reads the Quote and creates everything you need to start billing — automatically, in one pass.
Steps
- Your client accepts the proposal — by signing the Agreement, or by clicking Accept on a quote-only proposal. (You can also use Mark accepted in the composer for an offline yes.)
- ClientCasa creates an engagement project named after the proposal. New invoices, schedules, and milestones anchor to it.
- Each Quote line is routed by its billing settings:
- One-time, billed when accepted → a single draft invoice with those lines.
- One-time, billed on a date or at a milestone → a payment schedule of installments.
- Recurring, billed when accepted → an active subscription that the billing sweep charges on schedule.
- Recurring, billed at a milestone → a subscription that stays dormant until you complete that milestone, then activates.
- If the Quote had client-configurable options (tiers, add-ons), only the lines the client selected are carried over.
- The client is promoted from a prospect to an active client.
- From there, track invoices, payments, time, and milestones against the new engagement project as usual.
