Accept a Proposal
What happens when a client accepts a proposal.
When your client accepts a proposal, ClientCasa turns it into real work automatically — invoices, recurring billing, and an engagement project, all wired up from the Quote.
Steps
- Your client opens the private link they were emailed (the page at
/d/[token]). - They review the document. If the Quote is configurable, they pick their tiers and add-ons first.
- They accept:
- If the proposal includes an Agreement, accepting means signing it. Signing the agreement completes that block and marks the document accepted.
- If it's a quote-only proposal (no Agreement to sign), they click Accept.
- On acceptance, ClientCasa converts the Quote's line items into billing instruments:
- One-time lines billed when accepted become a single draft invoice.
- One-time lines billed on a date or at a milestone become a payment schedule of installments.
- Recurring lines become a subscription — active now if billed when accepted, or armed to start later if tied to a milestone.
- An engagement project is created to anchor the new invoices, schedule, and milestones.
- The client is promoted from a prospect to an active client.
- You can also record an acceptance yourself: on a sent, quote-only proposal, use Mark accepted in the composer when the client said yes by email, text, or phone. This runs the same conversion.
