Frequently asked questions

Do clients need to create an account?+

No. The portal is accessed via a unique link — copy it from the client’s contact card or let it travel in the emails you send. No passwords, no sign-up forms. Click the link, see everything.

Can clients see draft documents?+

No. Only documents that have been sent appear in the portal. Drafts are invisible to clients until you explicitly send them.

Is the portal secure?+

Yes. Each client has a unique 64-character cryptographic token, and you can rotate it any time to instantly revoke an old link. The link is shared privately via email — equivalent to the security model used by Stripe, DocuSign, and similar platforms.

Can I customize what clients see?+

The portal automatically shows all sent documents for the client. Action-needed items (unsigned, unpaid, incomplete) are highlighted at the top. Document visibility is controlled by your send actions — if you haven't sent it, the client doesn't see it.

Does the portal work on mobile?+

Yes. The portal is fully responsive and works on any device. Clients can view documents, sign agreements, complete forms, and pay invoices from their phone.
