Reuse a Proposal

Duplicate a proposal or save it as a template so you don't start from scratch every time.

Your best starting point is a proposal you've already built. ClientCasa gives you two ways to reuse one: duplicate it into a fresh draft, or save it as a template you can spin up again and again.

Duplicate a proposal

  1. Go to Forms and Agreements in the sidebar (/dashboard/smart-files).
  2. Open the proposal you want to copy, or find it in the list.
  3. Use the actions menu to Duplicate. A new draft is created with all the same blocks, Quote line items, terms, and settings.
  4. The copy opens in the composer as a fresh draft. Change the recipient, adjust the Quote, edit the terms — then send when you're ready.

Save and reuse a template

Templates are just proposals you've marked as reusable, so they're as editable as any other document.

  1. Open a proposal you want to reuse and choose Save as template from the actions menu. Give it a name. (A proposal that already won makes a great template.)
  2. Manage templates under the Templates tab on the Forms and Agreements page. You can edit, duplicate, delete, or set one as your default.
  3. Start a new proposal from a template with the New menu — your templates appear at the top, with the default starred. Picking one opens a fresh draft pre-filled from the template.
  4. If a template-based draft has changes you want to keep, use Update my template with this version to push them back into the template so it keeps getting better.
