Create a Proposal

Build a proposal in the composer and send it to your client.

A proposal in ClientCasa is a single client-facing document you assemble from blocks. Open Forms and Agreements from the sidebar (/dashboard/smart-files) and you build the proposal in the composer, against a live preview of exactly what your client will see.

Steps

  1. Go to Forms and Agreements in the sidebar (/dashboard/smart-files).
  2. Click New and choose the Proposal preset to start with a Welcome, a Quote, and an Agreement already in place — or pick another preset, Blank, or one of your saved templates.
  3. The composer opens. Build your document by adding and arranging blocks from the left rail (Add block). Drag to reorder; use the eye icon to hide a block from the client.
  4. Choose from these blocks:
    • Welcome — a rich intro message that greets the client.
    • Questionnaire — embed a real form to gather details from the client.
    • Quote — author your line items. Set each line's billing frequency (one-time or recurring) and when it bills (When accepted, On a date, or At a milestone). Optionally turn on client configuration so the client can pick tiers and add-ons themselves.
    • Timeline — lay out milestones for the engagement.
    • Agreement — your terms, edited in the contract editor with the signature folded in. Signing the Agreement is how the client accepts.
    • Deposit — collect an upfront payment.
  5. Edit each block by clicking it. The Quote, Questionnaire, and Agreement open full-screen editors; lighter blocks open in a side sheet. Your changes autosave.
  6. Open Settings (top bar) to set the document title and the recipient (the contact you're sending to). A recipient is required before you can send.
  7. Watch the center preview — it renders the real client view as you build, so there are no surprises.
  8. When you're ready, click Send to client. ClientCasa emails the client a link to the private page at /d/[token]. Use Preview to open that page yourself, or Copy client link to share it another way.
