Reword any client email, switch automatic ones off, set your brand & signature and the invoice reminder schedule.
Steps
- Go to Settings > Client emails
(/dashboard/settings/client-emails). Every email your clients get from you is listed, grouped as Invoices, Payments, Proposals & signing, Leads, Testimonials and Event day. Each row says whether you send it or it goes out automatically, and whether you have customized it. - Brand & signature (top of the page): set the From name, intro, signature and footer every client email uses, then click Save. The "Show “Sent by ClientCasa”" switch there saves on its own — it is the same switch as Settings > Organization > Branding, and also shows on your documents and website footer.
- Open an email from the list to edit its subject and message. Click "Insert field" to add details like the client's first name — each field shows as a pill and fills in when the email goes out. Your logo, the document details, the button and your signature are added for you.
- Watch the live preview beside the editor. Switch between Desktop and Mobile, or pick a real record instead of sample data. On a phone, Edit and Preview are two tabs.
- Click "Send test to me" to get the email — with your unsaved wording and the chosen sample or real record — in your own inbox. It only ever goes to your own verified login email, never to a client.
- Click Save to use your wording from now on, or Reset to default to go back to ours.
- Automatic emails have an on/off switch on the row and on the email's page. Some switches are shared: the invoice due-soon and overdue reminders are one switch, and the testimonial reminders move together (turning off the first reminder also stops the final one).
- Invoice reminders: open "Invoice due soon" or "Invoice overdue" to set which days before or after the due date reminders go out. Click "Add step", pick the number of days and before/after, then click Save schedule. With no steps, the default schedule is used (3 days before the due date and 30 days after).
Only owners and admins can change client emails; members can read, preview and send themselves a test. Event-day emails need your own custom domain and say so on the row.
