Upload a Contract

Upload an existing contract PDF for e-signing or record-keeping.

Upload existing contracts to ClientCasa for e-signing or as records of already-signed agreements.

Upload for E-Signing

Use this when you have a contract PDF that needs signatures:

  1. Go to Terms in the sidebar (/dashboard/terms).
  2. Click New Terms, then choose Import Existing.
  3. Select the PDF you want to send for e-signatures.
  4. The document is created with content type "PDF".
  5. On the edit page, the Firma template editor loads automatically.
  6. Drag and drop signature, initial, and date fields onto the PDF pages.
  7. Add signers with names and email addresses.
  8. Click "Send for Signing" to initiate the e-signature flow.

Upload Already-Signed Contract

Use this for record-keeping when a contract was signed elsewhere:

  1. Go to Terms > New Terms > Import Existing.
  2. Choose to store an already-signed document for your records.
  3. Upload the signed PDF or image and enter a title and the date it was signed.
  4. The document is recorded directly in "Active" status with the signed file attached.

Document Intelligence

When the Document Intelligence pipeline processes an uploaded document and classifies it as a contract, it can automatically propose creating a contract record. Review and approve the proposed action from the document details page.
