Create a Contract
Create your standard agreement from scratch, by duplicating an existing one, or by importing a PDF.
In ClientCasa, your contract is your Terms — the reusable standard agreement you maintain on the Your Terms page. The same editor powers the Agreement block inside a proposal, so the terms you build here travel with a proposal when you send it as an agreement.
Start Fresh
- Click Terms in the sidebar
(/dashboard/terms). - Click New Terms, then choose Start Fresh.
- A blank editor opens. From here you can describe your business and have AI draft the complete terms for you, or start typing manually.
- Use the editor to add clauses, merge fields, and signature blocks. Content auto-saves as you type.
Duplicate an Existing Terms Document
- From the Your Terms page, click New Terms, then choose Duplicate Existing (this option appears only if you already have terms).
- Pick the terms document to copy.
- A new copy opens in the editor, ready to adjust for the new use case.
Import an Existing PDF
- From the Your Terms page, click New Terms, then choose Import Existing.
- Upload a PDF to send for e-signatures, or store an already-signed document for your records.
- For documents you're sending out, use the embedded template editor to place signature fields on the PDF, then send for signing.
As an Agreement Inside a Proposal
You don't create a separate contract to pair with a proposal. When you build a proposal, add a Terms block (the Agreement) — it embeds the contract editor and folds the signature into the document. The client sees the proposal and the terms together and signs both at once. See the proposal guides for how the composer assembles blocks.
